Despite steep climbs and unexpected challenges, the experience of exploring ancient Wats and enjoying local hospitality brings joy and excitement. The vibrant scenery, serene villages, and the camaraderie of the locals create lasting memories of this beautiful, off-the-beaten-path destination. Especially cycling the Thakhek Loop and putting our bikes on canoes at the Kong Lor Caves to float on the longest underground navigable river in Asia. Cycling Adventure in Laos – Luang Prabang to Ponsavanh through the hills

In November, we cycled through the hills of North Laos, starting in Luang Prabang, exploring markets, and observing local culture. Our journey led us through challenging hills, showcasing breath-taking views and interactions with friendly villagers. Despite rough roads and exhausting climbs, we discovered rich histories, notably the Plain of Jars, impacted by the Vietnam war.
